October 28, 2011 – What is Happiness?

Happiness means different things to different people.  I want to know what happiness is to YOU.  What does it look like?  What does it smell like?  Taste, feel, and sound like?  Yes, I asked about your five senses because I bet you can tell me what happiness is to you by using your five senses.

Happiness is the smile on your families faces.
Happiness smells like the fireplace blazed up keeping the room warm.
Happiness tastes like the the like the hot chocolate milk oozing in your mouth.
Happiness feels like your nice warm blanket curling up you, as you feel the warmth.
Happiness sounds like the calm music playing in the room.

HAPPINESS is playing basketball.the stong smell of sweat mixed with the odor of floor cleaner in the gym. It’s the sound of people running, balls bounding, and the boom when the ball hits the hoop and the swish.Basketball tastes like the good gatorade and water. It also feels like you are playing rough and might get really mad. That what i think about happiness. 🙂

Not only is it a term, but also a feeling, emotion, an expressioin, a feeling. You can’t just look at someone and say they’re happy! Being happy means feeling lightened, seeing other people being happy, and the joy of living.

  6. Happiness is experienced in many different forms. Happiness is seeing the dimples in my babies’ cheeks and hearing their belly laugh when they get tickled about something. It’s seeing their eyes light up on Christmas morning when they see their presents. Ultimately, happiness can be seen in the beautiful colors of a tall, majestic sunflower, or the setting of a golden sunset on the horizon of the ocean. You might smell happiness when the fresh aroma of baking bread wafts through the open window of your grandmother’s house. Happiness may melt in your mouth when you bite into the tantalizing sweetness of a homemade brownie fresh from the oven. Whether happiness is the gentle touch of a cool breeze or the feeling of holding hands with someone you love, happiness is yours to have. You just need to look around you, and you will find it.
